Born in England in 1969 with a twin sister, take a wild guess of her name. Like many children, I grew up with little knowledge of God or the Bible, (largely because we wasn't really listening when at Sunday school). My mum became a rasta and used to take me to celebrations ceremonies and meetings. I remember as a teenage being invited to church by one of my friends, and a young man begun speaking to me about Jesus and I let him know that I believed what the rastas told me about Haile Sellassie. My mother bought me a bible and I sought to find out more about him, as I was told that is where I would find more information. I came across this scripture Acts 4 verse 12 which says: 'Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved'. The Apostle Peter was speaking about Jesus Christ. This scripture sent me on a journey through the bible, which not only changed my life but the life of my mother and other members of my family. God also gave me the gift to sing. I now visit prisons, churches and youth events, delivering bible based songs via reggae music and in doing so, a dear brother in Atlanta heard me sing at an event and asked me to minister on a mix cd that he would be giving out to the youth. He sent me the 'Dropleaf' rhythm to which I wrote the song entitled 'Nobody Told Me' which speaks of people who know the truth of who Jesus Christ is, but withhold that information for their own agendas, and to the detriment of their followers. I was also approached by Redbeard, from His Majesty's Sound System, who asked me to write a song for the 'High Priest' rhythm to which I joined with a young man named Omario and together we wrote 'When The Enemy Sought' encouraging Christians to continue to live right in the sight of God and men, even when the enemy uses others to afflict us and also urges the afflicter not be like Pharaoh or Balaam who met their own demise by coming against God's people.
